How it works
An age calculator finds the exact gap between your birth date and a target date (usually today), broken into years, months, and days. It counts completed years first, then the leftover months, then the remaining days — accounting for the different lengths of months and for leap years.

Good to know
- Age counts completed years — you're only “34” once you've passed the birthday, even if it's the same calendar year.
- Leap days matter: someone born on 29 February has an official birthday only every four years, though they age normally.
